Bunut Bolong – Jembrana Tourist Attraction

Bali is indeed one of the most popular people’s choices as a tourist destination. In addition to its beautiful natural attractions, also because of the exquisite and diverse cultural diversity that makes you will always want to stay in Bali. In addition, its predominantly populated Balinese Hindus have a well-known cultural custom which is very friendly and upholds a sense of tolerance and solidarity.

From one of these attractions, for example, is a very unique place but sacred by the Balinese people. This is Bunut Bolong, located in the Manggisari village, Pekutatan, Jembrana. It is a large tree whose roots spread everywhere and formed a beautiful and charming Cave. Just as in the United States, exactly in the Shrine Drive Thru Tree which has large trees that are deliberately hooded to attract tourist to come there. But in Bali is different, this tree is not intentionally formed in such a way. This tree grew by itself and was sanctioned by the locals as a holy place that was kept. A magical aura is very strong, accompanied by a deep sense of wonder.

The hole of the tree is very big whose diameter can be passed by the car freely, visible from a distance as if straddling the paved road that is between two hemispheres. The natural surroundings are still very beautiful, with the nuances of the village as well as the dense tropical forest in the west that stretches from North to South. And on its eastern side clove garden as a cool feature of a terrain, making it cool enough to calm the mind and seek peace and also suitable as a tourist attraction in Bali that gives different nuance.

In the south there is Pura Pujangga Sakti that is suitable for the spiritual approach. It is because the magical aura in this place feels so strong, the temple is founded as a Dang Kahyangan temple to honor Dang Hyang Sidhi Mantra, which has an important role in the history of the existence of Mangissari village. It is said that the people's houses were located next to the northern part of Bunut Bolong. But because of many people ill, then it moved to the South.

This naturally growing tree looks attractive and rescued by the surrounding villagers, estimated to be hundreds of years old, in the midst of an unspoiled natural surroundings, fresh mountain air, looking at the clove garden, in a place away from the crowd, making the nature has an added value in offering the tranquility and privacy of a vacation.

When you plan to tour in Bali towards the West, Bunut Bolong tourist attraction can be your next destination and pack it into an interesting tour package with Bali Taman Sari Villa’s & Restaurant, a villa at Medewi.
